I have bought a new FX-8320 with a new Asrock 970 extreme 4 mobo.

 

The dr. debug screen keeps giving me a "00" error. The mobo has BIOS version 1.9 installed. What is the minimum BIOS version required for my FX-8320 CPU? I was told 2.0, but can anyone confirm this? I need to be sure.

If only there was a document published by the manufacturer of every motherboard which listed minimum BIOS versions and PCB versions required to support CPU's...Oh wait, there is, called CPU Support Lists, which in your case is here, which says the 8320 requires P2.00
