Hello,

I would like to ask if anyone has a copy of the Chill Control software that comes with the AMD FX-8150 (FD8150FRGUWOX).  I have misplaced it and could not find the software available online.  Any assistance would be appreciated.   Thank you!

Chill control is from ANTEC's Kuhler series. My 920 on win8 uses this.

KUHLER_ChillControl_V1_2.zip  found on http://97.74.65.154/download/

You can find it on the Antec site too.

Thank you for that.  I was also able to get the software bundled with the FX-8150 by messaging the water cooler manufacturers.  If anyone needs it : https://dl.dropbox.com/u/17008301/AMD%20CCV%20v1.3.zip

Thanks for that, I'll have to check it out to see if there's any improvement from the Antec version.

I have tried both of these programs in Windows 8 x64.  Both of them come up as No USB Connection found or something like that.

I have installed using Run As Admin.....  Have all windows updates installed.  It installed the Asetek USB when installing the software.  If I don't have the USB Header plugged in the fan spins faster, when I plug it in the fan speed decreases indicating something but I am at a loss for answers.  Asetek says contact AMD, AMD says contact Asetek.

Anybody have a solution that will work???

Is AMD CC listed in your USB controllers (device manager)?

Got exactly the same problem :/

It shows 'Unknown device' among USB device's list, while manually update the driver it turns into 'AMD CC' device but still marked with '!' sign and refuses to be operating properly.

Giving it up was followed by contacting Asetek as the cooling system vendor but in vain - was asked to contact AMD so here I am: I've raised the support ticked but still don't know if AMD support will answer me via e-mail or there's super-secret place (of which existence I do not even realize ) where the mentioned ticket's status can be found.

So, right now I am in standstill with the issue.

Regardless the googled advices (none helped by the way) I even tried to use Antec's drivers which are 200% the same as it is exactly similar to AMD cooling system varying only by the pump's cap (logo) and the ChillControl V logo. The rest is the same - radiator, fans - everything. It didn't help.

My system is Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Still can't believe that there isn't a solution from anyone on this, including AMD.
