Hello,

I've got the machine with 4 of 6276 processors. The first thing I tried to make was attempt to reach maximum perfomance in HPL test. I've found (with turbostate utility from linux kernel) that 6276 processor can achieve 3200 MHz when I run just one process per socket. Specs says that it should be possible with 8 processes per socket. CPU's Downcore mode: "Compute Unit" in BIOS change the situation dramatically - every core begin work with 2600 MHz freq but HPL's perfomance fall more then 7 times.

Can anybody answer how to get turboboost frequency 3200 on 8 cores?

Minor question - why does downcore mode kill HPL perfomance?
