Hello everybody.
Where can I get a list of all AMD stock coolers and the respective CPU's that came with them?
If you don't know where I might find that, are you able to tell me what CPU's came with this stock cooler?

Thank you.

Thank you for your answer. I know it fits the AM2+ sockets, but I'm asking more in terms of cooling capacity. More in the line of the AMD Phenom X4.

The heavy Phenom II X4 955 and 965, as well as other 125w chips, came with a copper and aluminum heatsink with copper heatpipes. Solid aluminum like that I would put at 65-90w, perhaps the Phenom II X3 720 kind of chip.

So, how about using it for a Phenom X4 9550? (95 W TDP)

that cooler use to come with the old Athlon chips.
I wouldn't suggest using that cooler on anything higher than a 65W cpu

I wouldn't use anything with a generation 1 or 1.5 processor, performance just isn't there. But if you must, I agree with Slayerx, that cooler is insufficient.

The pics I see match the CPU cooler that came with my Athlon64 X2 4200+ 65W CPU
I am still using the factory CPU cooler for my Phenom II 965 C3 which is a more significant cooler assembly.
I bought an Arctic cooler for the Athlon for my server mainly to keep fan noise down as the old fan was several years old.
I have another fan that is the same size as the known 65W cooler that came from the Sempron but it does not say AMD on the fan so that machine used tray processors and 3rd party coolers.

I used that cooler on my old Athlon x2 5600+ 86W and the darn thing would overheat and shut down almost every day until I replaced the cooler with a aftermarket one.

Stock coolers on most chips are just bare bones. Even on my Athlon64 X2 6000+ Windsor (the big 1MB L2 cache 125w 90nm behemoth I still think was AMD's last really great chip of the K era) the stock 4 heatpipe copper aluminum cooler would struggle to keep it in the low 50s at stock speeds, even in a ThermalTake Armor supertower with a crapload of fans. The good news is that these days coolers such as the Corsair H60 have come down to about the price of a performance air cooler but none of the drawbacks (loud, huge hunk of metal hanging off your board, etc).

Curious as My Athlon64 X2 4200+ is a 65 nm part.
That is probably why it uses 65W rather than 95W like a similar version at 90 nm.

Hello everybody.
Thank you to all of you who replied.
I was asking this, because someone handed me over a computer for me to fix, that came with an AMD Phenom X4 9550 and the stock cooler I showed you guys on the pictures. Thing is the owner complained of a slow computer, and I was starting to think that the cooler was not for that CPU.
I ended up just removing the old thermal paste and putting new high quality one, and the CPU holds on to 56ºC while gaming.
Once again, thank you for all of you who replied.
Oh, and AMD:
BUILD A DAMN LIST WITH ALL THE STOCK COOLERS AND THE CPU's THAT CAME WITH THEM!!!
Thank you.

That's the one I've got on my Phenom II.
Any suggestions for a replacement that's a bit cooler, and quieter?
