I've used AMD since its first Athlon processor, but I have to say I've been researching Intel products because of framerate inconsistencies with Borderlands2. I get framerate slowdowns on my PHENOM X2 965BE clocked at 4.2Ghz with my Radeon 6990 and 4GB of ram on Windows 7. I couldn't say if its the game engine or the processor. Borderlands2 populates the screen with multiple AI enemies and so I'm wondering if my AMD can't handle it.

My setup is not the problem. I was looking forward to the Pyledriver but test reviews show its no upgrade to my Phenom 965BE.

Can someone confirm its a Unreal engine problem or is it the processor?
