That is interesting. Hopefully some more will take a look. From what I hear most lids on any newer cpu's that come in metal containers even the apu's have some type of picture.

My main question is why YOU were prompted to look? I was prompted by my curiosity from your results... but what made you look?

Awww... I had an A6 3600 that was still in the box here. I opened it, but no metal container... all plastic... no strangely awesome radomness for me...
Boo...

I heard about it in another forum. I guess someone got bored and just happened to take it out.

What other forum?... I tried to google it but did not see any results matching this type of thing. I am curious to see what other scrap tin has been used and if there are other interesting companies hidden under the hood

I found that funny also that it had stuff for Bulldozer in the lid. I wonder where all these different tins are actually from, or is AMD intentionally doing it. It probably is recycling, but where do they use tins like that for all those different things.

If you look at yours and look at mine it is piece of a tin and not so much a tin like the CPU cannester... lots and lots of things all over the world are sold in tins of all different sizes.

You are probably right. I just have never saw any of these type of tin containers myself for any of the products. They are from other countries so that is why I have never come across any. I wonder how many different ones they used. I would have figured this type of container would have be phased out years ago, but I am wrong I guess.
