Sorry if this question has been asked.

So I've been running Win 8 for a bit now and for some reson OverDrive keeps showing that my CPUs cores speed keep changing frequently from 3.2GHz to 3.6 GHz when idel and I'm not pushing the system.  Also under the Board Status tab it shows that my CPU is at around 26c and my motherboard is at -270c.  But under my BIOs it shows CPU at 40c to 45c and the motherboard is at 30c to 35c  and this is the same for Win 7 with OverDrive.  Also the clock speed for the CPU in Win 7 dose not keep change like Win 8 is.  I don't know if this a problem with Windows 8 or if it a problem with OverDrive on Windows 8.  Please help and please don't just say go back to Windows 7.

Windows 8 Pro 

AMD Phenom II x6 1090T

8 GB of RAM

you don't have to push the system for turbo core to kick in and if its bugging you just turn it off.
