I just got my NEw fx-8150 8-core yesterday, I noticed that it was getting pretty hot. Right now the minimum temperature is 52 degrees fahrenheit and it is at 55 right now. The maximum however hit 101. How long untill it fry's? and should I get a new fan? Any fan recomendations? Thanks.

The cpu will shut down long before it reaches a temp that could couse damage so your not going to fry the cpu, but I would still drop a better cooler on it, something like Corsair's H60

Yes, stock coolers for the FX 8150 are weak in dissipation, that was told in many reviews, mine was too. First day I was making 67 degrees and had to buy one Corsair H70 water cooler, from that day on, no problems... temperature reached a top of 63 degrees after a very long full 8 core processing. Usual temps are around 45/50 (35 on winter)

After reading this thread I am now more concerned that my CPU may be getting into dangerous waters. Right now I've just got a few tabs open in Chrome and Steam up, but the temp is fluctuating between 21-30 C (69-82 F). And under load it can spike to 71 C (158 F).... I got it assembled at a store, so do you perhaps think that there may be an issue with assembly? 

It just has the AMD cooler on it.
