hi guys,

 i have been looking for more details on the fx quad core 4170 4.2ghz and cant  seem too find... i am tryying to figure out what the maximum gb/s of ram the 4170 will support; also what is the max mhz it will support standard, and is the ram able too be overclocked with this processor if i needed too. is this processor ocable because amd says the 100 and 200 series is unoverclockable which dosent sound right. is the 4170 cosidered the 100 series? i probabley wont anyway but i would like to know incase it bottlenecks.

 i have an asrock 970 pro/3 motherboard capable of 2100mhz oc and 1866mhz standard on the ram and 64gb of ram capable.

 asrock states that the 4170 quad supports only 1066mhz on ram but there tecnology will run it at 1333 but it also states that the am3+ amd quad cores will run at 1866 standard very conflicting and unclear  so they state to check amd specs which amd dosent specify any where?

 any help would be appreciated.. thanks
