i have been trying to figure out what the max mhz the amd fx 4170 quad core will run ram at standard. and what is the max gbs of ram it will support. i ahve an asrock 970 pro/3 motherboard that supports ram at 2100mhz oc and 1866mhz standard. and supports up too 64 gbs of ram .asrock states that the 100 and 200 series fx processors will not allow for ocing the ramand the processor isnt overclockable which dosent sound right to me which i probabley wont any way unless it bottlenecks but that dosent sound right. asrock states this 4170 processor will run 1066mhz on the ram but there tachnology will run the ram at 1333mhz if 1333 is installed with this processor. but it also states that the amd+ processers will run ram at 1866 standard and says to check with amd for specs which i cannot find. very conflicting info...!

 can anyone help me sort out the conflicting info please!!!
