I am running a AMD FX-8120 Processor and I have it open because of overheating issues. with it open the idle temp is 50'C maybe 55C when Gaming, Is this a normal Temperature?

i m running FX 8150 with stock cpu cooler @ stock values and my CPU temps at idle are around 30-32 C.

need to mention that my case is coolermaster CM690ii with 2 120mm fans and is closed.

Is that the temp shown in the bios? Because when i open CoreTemp it show im running 15-20C on idle.

Check your thermal grease, that is too warm. The CPU should be around 45C when idle in a office type environment.

It should not be more than about 55C when loaded.

I just replaced the thermal greace, its better now but I dont want to damage my processor so I really want to cool this down.

Even 55°C won't damage it. You need to be reading the core temps, not the socket temp.
