I have the following system:

AMD A6-5400K
Asrock FM2A75 Pro4-M
Windows 7 Pro 64-bits

When I use the default VGA driver, I have no problem at all. Once I install catalyst driver, the screen starts going like: go completelly black, then go back to normal, black, normal, ... etc (this is once the driver is installed, machine rebooted and entered on desktop)

Sometimes it can last 1 minute working and then goes black. And sometimes it changes from black to normal in 1 second or 2. There does not seem to be a pattern.

I have tried with Catalyst 13.1 and 13.2 beta, with same results.

I also tried with an old CRT and it happened the same.

So, this happens using VGA connector. I tried with HDMI on a TV and I had no issues at all. But the monitor only has VGA.

Do you have any idea of what to do?

Hi!

I finally fixed the issue. It seems it was a Motherboard problem. I installed latest bios and that fixed it.
