Hey guys, I have an AMD FX-8120 and it has a a single broken pin.  I was wondering if anybody knew the cost to send it in to be replaced?  I know it's not under warranty

Is it bent? Or completely broken off? If its just bent, you can bend its back to its original place with a very small screwdriver.

Purely broken off  Now the motherboard doesn't even get power.

If the motherboard doesn't get power then you have another issue. If you broke off one of the voltage pins then you would get a CPU Fault error beep or readout code.

Slipping the end of a mechanical pencil over the end of the pin works also.

I would go back to the place you bought it... assuming the unlucky pin didn't meet its death while in your care...

^If the above doesn't work out, i.e. brining it back to where you purchased it, then I'm afraid that there is no other options for you aside from using the CPU as an awesome keychain coupled with an excellent excuse to upgrade into PileDriver and hope that your motherboard supports it.
