Hello everyone !!!
So some days ago i was buy an FX-8150 3.6Ghz Zambezi (at least so recognize it the Core Temp program ). Well my first opinion about these product is splited to bad and good. The good think is these CPU is REALY fast and the performance is very good but... the bad think is about hes temperature that make me stress littlebit and the stock Cooller that bring the headpain after some hours of noisy full rpm mode.
That is my system:
Os Name: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Motherboard: ASRock 970de3/u3s3
CPU: AMD FX(tm)-8150 8-core, 3600Mhz
Bios Version/Date: American Megatrends Inc. P1.70, 08-Apr-13
SMBIOS Version: 2.6
RAM: 8Gb DDR3 1600Mhz (Duall Channel)
HDD: SAMSUNG HD753LJ ATA Device 700GB (7200rpm)
Power Adapter: 450Watt
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6700 Series 1Gb DDR5
So the new parts that i replace is the old MoBo, CPU and the RAM. The instaltion by it self wasnt dificult except of the ATX 12v Cable that on MoBo is 8pin and my adapter have only 4pin (But i w8ing from Ebay my new ATX cable convert the 4pins to 8pins).
The questions is:
1) after instaling the CPU and opening the windows i detect that my CPU is in Turbo Mode and times to times go until 4.2Ghz that make the temperatures picking at 70C (Socket temp). Is that normal for the stock setings ?
2)Once i try it in Game (Battlefield 3) ofcause i wass stressed once the PC was turned off cause of CPU temps (dont know what was the temp when it was closed). what could be the reason of overheating without even overclocking it.
3) Once i dont have any Thermaltake Case i decide to add an extra cooler to the case that take the heat air from the case and blow it out from the rear side. Did that a right move or uselless ? (the temps are not going down or at least is too low defference)
4) And more important is that on an idle mode when the Core temps are even around 20C the stock Fan is working at 4-5k Rpms that make me crazy from the noise. Why it is not reduse the RPM on the low temps ?
That was my questions guyz and hope someone can give some advice about them.
PS: I know that watter coolers would be help me, but i am not so reach to spend money on Afterbuy Coolers and i think that the stock coolers should be at least prevent the overheating of the CPU if not to be absolut stable... what is the point then of the "Certified Cooler AMD" emblem on them.
