Hello everyone. I recently spilled a drink on my laptop and fried pretty much everything. Being a bit short on cash I inherited my parents laptop which needs quite a bit of work. It's a Presario CQ62 64 Bit and it runs a AMD v120 s1-638 pin processor. I've done a LOT of looking and it seems (even according to AMD's website) that this model can't even be upgraded anymore. It's not even in AMD's list of processors anymore. Are there any options out there?

I'm not looking for anything too fancy, just enough to play a game or two that aren't overly intensive. They already work fine for solo play but when I get into groups and we get into some graphic intense situations I get extremely choppy. I've already upgraded to 8G RAM and thought about upgrading the video card but it's a Radeon HD 4200, which I know is far from "great" but upgrading the processor from a 25W will be a lot more cost effective if it can be done.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Nope, your only option is to upgrade to a new laptop.
