Anything under 55°C is fine on the stock cooler.

As usual the AMD website has no temp information on the FX-6300 - which is a disgrace IMO and a total lack of customer support.

http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUDetail.aspx?id=811&f1=&f2=&f3=&f4=&f5=&f6=&f7=&f8=&f9=&f10=&f11=&f12=

The 8-core FX CPUs have a 61C max 24/7 core temp. This had to be dragged out of AMD Tech Support but it's correct according to AMD engineering.

The 4 and 6 core FX models may have a 24/7 core temp of up to 70C in certain models but you can't tell from the AMD website most of the time.

These max 24/7 core temps would be with 100% load on all cores such as with stress testing or some application like Prime 95 or similar that can actually load the cores to 100% continuously. Unless you have some very high ambient temps or a PC case with airflow issues, you should not expect to be at the max core temp unless stress testing.

Any temp below the max 24/7 specified but well hidden AMD max core temp for your CPU model, is just fine. The max 24/7 core temp should be at least 61C for a 6-core and probably higher because it's a 95w model.

Technical ignorance is NOT a destiny it is a choice. Do your homework so that you can make technically informed decisions and not be duped by advertising hype or mis-information stated as fact when its not.

Will keep it around 55c and a max at 61c for a reference . Take Care and thank you so much for the help just wish I had some more free time to help out with the easy ones my self .  Mark this one solved .
