I broke off two of the pins from my CPU and I am unable to fix it. I hate to have this costly CPU that I can't even use anymore because of two missing pins.

I ended up upgrading to an FX 6300 with a new MOBO. I am building a computer for another room of my house so I was going to use the old MOBO that has an AM3 socket, unfortunately Newegg and Tigerdirecet do not sell Phenom II's anymore. I will have to look elsewhere or risk buying a used one. Or spend more money and buy a new MOBO and CPU for the new build...sigh.

Look up the 965's whitepaper and see which pins are actually broken. Several pins are "key" and "ground" pins which do not impact functionality.
