Hi,

FX-8350 + R9 290X *changed from FX-3850 to FX-8350

or A10 7850k + R9 290X

What will be the best choice for gaming in ultra settings and future box development?

None of the above. An AMD FX 8000 or FX 9000 series, or an Intel i7 is what you need with a 290X, but unless you are using a resolution of 2560x1600 or above, the 290x is overkill.

My mistake, should be FX-8350 + R9 290X

FX 9000 is too hot TDP 220W, too much.

The FX-8350 is the best choice for most people and it can be OC'ed easily. The FX-9000 series require a special mobo with a proper VRM design to supply the 220w and top quality cooling, so I do not recommend them for typical PC use.

go with fx 8350 since you want to be using a r9 290x, the a10 is good too but half of cores so in multitasking it's not the best and you don't need igpu with a 290x seriously...you should even be able to eyefinity 3 1080p monitors and still play new games on ultra mostly.
