I'm planning to replace my CPU cooler, but I need to know the height of the stock cooler that came with my FX-6350 processor so I know how much clearance I have in my case. I've looked around and can't find the dimensions of this cooler anywhere. Does someone have one out of a case they could measure or know where I could find them?

Thanks!

I would suggest the Corsair H55 or H60. Inexpensive, powerful, quiet, and perfect for cramped little cases.

My case has room for an aftermarket air cooler, I just don't want to get one that will interfere with my side fans.

I measured from the side fans to the top of my current cooler, but I didn't really want to unmount my current cooler to measure it properly. So if I can find the height of the stock cooler, I'll know exactly how large a cooler I can fit.

Welp, I've got the stock cooler for my FX-8350 here. It's the same as the one provided for the FX-6350.

It looks like this:

  • Width: ~9.5cm (3.74")
  • Length: ~10cm (3.94") (because of the ends of the copper heatpipe)
  • Height including the fan: 5.5cm (2.17")

Hope that helps.
