I was planning on buying an AMD FX-8350 Black Edition Vishera 8-Core 4.0GHz. I'm not going to be overclocking. I was going to do some gaming but I don't know if the stock fan can handle it, i've read bad things. Obviously a new fan would be better than the stock fan but will the stock fan work to cool it well enough?

Depends on what your ambient temperatures will be, but really you should spend another $50 and grab an aftermarket cooler, preferably the Corsair H series.

I dont even know why they (AMD/Intel) even supply stock heatsinks with there CPU's.

I would definitely upgrade to an Aftermarket cooler!

I have that CPU and use the stock cooler, and it serves my needs, but I don't overclock, I have a big case with good airflow, and it's in the basement as well where it's usually cool.  It can get a little loud, though.  Still, I game on it and do other things and I don't have problems with overheating.  If your needs and situation differs and you want something quieter then I guess an aftermarket cooler would be the way to go.

Don't believe everything you read online as there are technically illiterate and disingenuous people who post all sorts of false information online.

Unless you have sustained ambient temps above 90F and you run your CPU under 100% load for long periods of time, the OE heatsink/fan works just fine. AMD tests all of this and supplies the proper fan and heatsink for the thermal load of the CPU model.

Some folks like aftermarket heatsink/fans because they are often more quiet than the OE fans which must run at fast speeds to provide sufficient cooling. There is no need however to buy and aftermarket HSF unless you desire to do so.

I think the mods must have gotten fed up with his garbage and banned him, and he didn't even try to hide the fact that he just created another account. Though even if he tried we could find out easily by recommending a liquid cooler

Can handle, yes, but as others say go for a bigger fan and you will never hear it.

I learned the hard way when I had a Phenom II X4 955 with its stock cooler in a case with inadequate cooling. The CPU eventually failed. When I got the  FX-8350 I got a much better case and a Corsair H60. Sure some people would choose something else but I have never regretted it. I love how quiet the computer is compared to when the CPU had a stock AMD air cooler.
