The 8320 looks interesting, though overclocking will blow that TDP.

The benchmark is as expected:

1) 8370E is lamer than the X6 1100

2) 8370 is just ~200 points more than the 8350

worth the "upgrade"? nope!

AMD's on-die sharing mania is just a shot in the foot.

AMDs issue is they're trying to force efficient multithreading in the non professional market, and it's just not going to happen. I said it before Bulldozer came out and I'll say it again, AMD should have tied the two integer processors together for parallel processing.

OTOH, for those of us looking to upgrade our PII and AM2 systems, this is a reasonable alternative.

in an overshared on-die environment? - sounds like a beautiful oxymoron by AMD

The more AMD continues to limp their CPUs for financial profit the more Intel will gain.
