I can't find any PCIe 3.0x16 AMD motherboards why is that?

Because AMD hasn't updated their chipsets yet and it's not needed?

I thought it was needed to use the PCIe3.0 cards full potential.

The only card which could exceed the x16 2.0 bandwidth would be the FirePro S10000, and if you have $10,000 to spend on that card you will have an i7 to back it up, but you will also be making tens of thousands of dollars a year for professional work, not gaming.

PCIe version 3 is backwards compatible, so any card that says it's verison 3 should still work.

If you run into trouble, it'll be with bad drivers, or a weak power supply, or something like that.
