Something has happened and my device manager does not show any USB devices anymore.  I think something happened to the device driver setup when I tried loading a USB driver for an old HP scanner.  My USB devices worked just fine before but now the system acts as if it has no USB hardware in the system.  I have an HP ProBook 6555b equipped with the AMD 880G chipset running Windows7 Enterprise (64bit).  I've searched the AMD website multiple times and have done numerous Google searches.  Essentially, I want a program that will restore the base 880G hardware device drivers but have not had any success yet.  I'm trying to avoid a full re-install of the OS.  Also, I have tried taking the hard disk out and putting it in an identical ProBook 6555b and the problem follows the hard disk (confirms to me that it is most probably a software issue).  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the response and the suggestion.  Unfortunately, System Restore was not turned on so there are no restore points available.  And the devices don't even show up at all in the device manager so I can't request a driver rollback.
