I am trying to use AMD RAID 1 in Ubuntu 12.04. I am able to create RAID 1 and install the system to it with no problem. I tested the drives and they are indeed synced. However the problem arrives when I tested the situation of exchanging a failed drive. Within Ubuntu I cannot get the drives to sync back. Windows users do it within RaidXpert software with ease, however there is no Linux version to be found. The thing is, manual describes the installation for Linux, stating that the software is on CD, which indicates that there should be one. Is there any way to download this software, since I cannot find it on my software CD (I am using a HP microserver H36L, which uses AMD chipset).
