My old system is AMD 4050e with  Biostar TA690G

recently just purchased 3TB HDD, and decide to use this to replace my old NAS (AMD Sempron 2800+)

after dealing with various trouble shoting, I just give up.

Windows 7 is the only solution to recognize fully capacity with my new HDD.

Biostar website didn't provide (at least) proper driver for this motherboard.

their driver version is very old, and not working properly.

I've tried to select everything properly from driver selection, but the driver installation only have 2 option (for IGP Driver and Catalyst)

Where can I download driver for 690G Chipset driver?
Thank you.

You did not mention if you have 32 or 64bit windows 7.

Catalyst 10.2 is the latest officially supporting your chipset.

You migth need to install it in Vista compatibility mode within Win7, but not sure if it is necessary.

64bit preferable

and that link is only for IGP (display driver) & Catalyst, chipset driver (south bridge) is not included.

I've tried that, that why I'm asking for the right option here.

Description:
Package Includes:
Display Driver
Catalyst Control Center
(English Language Only)

Recall there was some discussion that separate driver for the SB600 south bridge is not needed.

However, you could try this AMD all-in-one pack from another board having the SB600.
