I have a quick question. I am running an all-AMD system. I have an AMD FX processor, an An ASUS Sabertooth 990FX motherboard and chipset and dual HD6850 video cards in Crossfire.

How do I do the cleanest install/update of my drivers? My motherboard comes with a chipset driver that installs Catalyst and motherboard component drivers.

Do I install this first and then my display drivers from the AMD website like the newest 13.10 Beta 2? Or do I install from the ASUS chipset driver and then uninstall part of the AMD software?

Or do I just install from the 13.10 Beta 2 drivers? Or do I install the AMD chipset drivers that are more recent for my motherboard chipset?

I just want the cleanest and most error-free way of keeping my motherboard chipset and videocard drivers up to date with the least errors and glitches. Thanks.

Just install the AMD SB/CCC drivers and it's done - if you want a clean driver install use the amd_cleanup_util_1.2.1.0 first.

When I'm booting under windows, what I normally do is uninstall the old driver, run driver sweeper, reboot and install the new driver, and holy crap you are using a Sabertooth 990FX....
