If your laptop manufacturer supports Windows 7 for that machine, then they will have them.

No they won't, because laptops are not like desktops.

And your a idiot. Why even bother to post a question when you won't/don't want a answer/solution that you disagree with?

Hi ng80092a,

I sympathize. I have the same issue........ trying to install Win 7 on a HP 1000 that came pre-installed with Win 8.

Finding the drivers for the AMD A68M FCH chipset has proved surprisingly painful. Both the HP and AMD websites being fairly useless.

The key is to find the ethernet LAN driver. Once you have that working and you can connect you can use Windows update to pull down the graphics drivers and everything else.

If I find the LAN driver I will come back to you.

Greg

Try thishttp://support.amd.com/en-us/download/chipset?os=Windows+7+-+64#amd-catalyst-packagesor this as a last resorthttp://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverid=0XNDGThe Dell driver is Catalyst 3 and it works on AMD a70m FCH. Should be backwards compatible. I used it on an HP Pavillion G6 2235US with great success.Cheers!
