Hi!

I have ASUS M4A79XTD Evo motherboard running Windows-7.

And I have RAID-1 with two 1TB Samsung HD103SJ disks. Everything was fine.

Now I have created second RAID-1 with two 4TB Seagate ST4000NM0033.

But when I put the computer to sleep mode, following happen (as I understand):

1) Windows powers-down hard drives.

2) Windows realizes that it forgotten to write some data.

3) All disks are spinned-up one-by-one.

4) Small amount of data have written.

5) System goes to sleep mode.

Upon waking-up from sleep mode I see warnings from RAIDXpert:

13    AMD Chipset SATA Controller - Controller 1    Warning    2013/10/15 09:14:37    Task 30 timeout on disk (Port Number 4,Target ID 1) at LBA 0x1d1c0be71 (Length 0x4)
14    AMD Chipset SATA Controller - Controller 1    Warning    2013/10/15 09:14:37    Task 30 timeout on disk (Port Number 3,Target ID 1) at LBA 0x074706d71 (Length 0x4)
15    AMD Chipset SATA Controller - Controller 1    Warning    2013/10/15 09:14:37    Task 30 timeout on disk (Port Number 2,Target ID 1) at LBA 0x1d1c0be71 (Length 0x4)

With only one RAID-1 I never had this problem.

Have you any ideas how to fix it? Why Windows too early powers-down hard drives? Is it possible to change some power management settings?

Thank you.

P.S. All drivers are latest (as far as I could find suitable versions).

P.P.S. On some forums I have seen suggestions to disable RAIDXpert service to don't see the warning. I don't like this kind of solutions. The problems should be solved, not ignored.
