was looking to go with a fm2 or fm2+ [a88x] board , and seems AMD dont support vista , now theres full support for XP,7,8 and 8.1 but not vista and what vista support there is on the older fm boards is limited to lano and trinity only.  now as with my vid card drivers also you can click for vista OS and the driver comes up , but in the release notes there is no vista support listed.  so i'm guessing that AMD dont support vista OS but can support XP,7,8,and 8.1 i dont get it  how can they support XP and  7 but not vista? whats next ? drop support for everything but 8.1 down the road? as far as i know vista is still supported by microsoft.  funny that i dont have this issue with my nonAMD products seem that when i went AM3+ a few years back my stock in AMD been going down i started building with AMD back in the scocket A days but now over the last few years i wondering if its time to change.

vista will work fine, but you might want to grab the windows 8.1 upgrade as its very good and fixes all the problems seen with the earlier release

AMD doesn't support Windows XP, they haven't for some time. Vista has less than 6% market share worldwide, so AMD chose to put their money and time into Windows 7 and 8 which have over 70%.
