Hello!

I have a gigabyte 890fxa-ud5 motherboard, and I been having this problem for a while now, I have a video as well showing this but I will explane. I have had 4 difference video cards in this setup and its doing the same thing in all games, which is like a micro studder or a hiccup or might even be called a quick pause.. now I'm bringing this up because I'm thinking that if I dont get this fixed im gonna upgrade to the 990fx even tho theres no real difference between the two as far as performance goes. My brother has almost the same setup as myself only he has a MSI board with the 990FX chipset and a MSI 7970gpu, he has the same cpu as myself.. I also even looked up core parking which I shut that off and helped some, im wondering if anyone else has this problem. Also is it switching from 2d mode to 3d in games causing this pause or studder? its kinda suttle but if u watch the bid close and what im trying to show you then u will see it.. I have had a AMD 6970, AMD R9 290, and a currently Nvidia 780... and there all doing the same stutter. My brothers system runs things really smooth very noticable.. any help would be great.

Also I have EVERYTHING up to date, chipset drivers, gpu drivers, bios... any driver you will ask about is up to date... im wondering if this could be a bios config prob? ideas?

Thanks!

Heres the video showing what im talking about. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1ZMgz02ukQ&feature=youtu.be

I just now even switched the GPU in a different PCIe bus and its about the same but a little better... so im really guessing it has to be setting in bios or the MB itself.

I would suspect a motherboard issue since it happens on both AMD and nVIdia cards, assuming your power supply is sufficient.
