Hello you all!

I would like to know whether there are generally a problem with the nb multiplier under use on a 990FX chipset and how amd professes here to this trouble, currently it is about the 990FXA-GD80 from MSI ... can this be true of the multipliers in bios from 11 to another value any questions and also save, but this is not accepted ... others and I have already contacted msi it often, but you are constantly being turned down in the later runs ... amd would not provide this support, this will make it stubborn to fix ... what is it and what true at all informative on this and if so, what is that?

with friendly greet from Germany,
F.-B. W.

My NB link runs fine at 2600MHz, or 5200MT/s as it is a bi-directional link.

I agree with Black_Zion here.

I have my CPU-NB running at 2600MHz as well.

According the information on the internet, it is rare for the CPU-NB to go much farther past ~ 2600MHz - 2700MHz. Beyond that will either become unstable, too much voltage is needed, or temperature is too high.

I thought my chip was slightly better than the rest, being able to run 2800MHz CPU-NB....but it turned out it is not 100% stable. It will only work sometimes.
