I just bought a Lenovo H535 desktop windows 8.1, 64 bit. I am trying to determine if I have the most current chipset driver installed.  First, is the "chipset" driver the same as the "processor" driver? when  you go to the Device Manager, there is nothing that shows "chipset" driver information.  If it is indeed "processor driver" then it shows taht I have an "AMD A10-6700 APU with Radeon (tm) HD Graphics driver installed.  BUt the driver provider is Microsoft, the driver date is 4/21/2009 and the driver version is 6.3.9600.16384.

On the Lenovo website, it says there is current driver "AMD chipset Driver for Windows 8.1 (64-bit) - Desktop" version 2.0.10.273 with a date of 10/16/2013.

Should I be installing that driver to update my chipset/processor driver? if not, do I need one, and if so, which one?

thank you.

If it works, leave it alone.
