Hello,

Do you know if there is a way to activate the morphological anti-aliasing on a mobility HD5870. It not yet implemented in the drivers (12.4) but there is no way the hardware isn't compatible : HD 5770 and mobility HD5870 are both based on RV840 and the option is available for HD5770.

If there is an easy solution I take it. If not, please catalyst drivers developpers add it soon in an update :  morphological anti-aliasing seems to be a really tricky rendering solution.

Yes...you can use the 12.4 mod.   http://benchmark3d.com/amd-catalyst-12-4-whql-7900-mod

Here is a good article on the updated morphological filter and the EQAA settings:

Thank you for your quick ansswer.

It seems to be a grate solution. But I don't see mobility HD 5800 series in the supported list. There's only mobility HD 5000 series, so i'm not sure it will work with my mobility 5870.

Do you have more info about that ?

It should work just fine. Mobility 5000 series would include everything from the 5450M to the 5870M

Same here with 6850M, im sure MLAA is featured by 6*** Series but in CCC (12.4 updatetd to 12.8 -> no difference) i cant find any possibility to enable this.

(Espiacially for GTA IV i want to use it and for GTA V, if there's no InGame AA in GTA V too)

I searched a long time and it seems rarely someone has the same problem?!

they say always the same directory like the other options (VSync, MipMapiing etc.) but theres no checkbox or anything like that.

(sry for bad english)

My question is:

can this "mod" used for my 6850M aswell if yes: is there sth similar for

12.8 and win7 64Bit?

Hope you can help me guys
