As stated in the mobility driver release, AMD does not support computers with switchable graphics. There is a laptom forum. I suggest you look there, this has been covered alot.

I bought from Futureshop this laptop (http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/product/samsung-samsung-14-amd-a10-4600m-laptop-np355v4-s01ca-silver-np355v4-s01ca/10211638.aspx). Has an AMD A10-4600M processor and as well as AMD Radeon HD 7660G + HD7670M dual graphics with 1GB dedicated graphics memory. Love it so far, but have a issue with AMD catalyst driver page. I want to update the drivers for this laptop. I go to the download page but when selecting the A series APU, no listing for the A10 processor is there and auto detect does not work. AMD needs to change that, especially for those with laptops with dual graphics setups like mine, And yes check Samsung's drivers page for it (http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/NP355V4C-S01CA-downloads?isManualDownload=true) but does not look current. Hard to get a hold of support. I would appreciate any help about this especially from AMD

As for AMD doing something about the drivers, they can't due to however Samsung decided to implement features of said machine - AMD only supply the technology, the manufacturers build on said tech and use it to their own specifications - hence drivers not working if downloaded from AMD etc. This is mentioned all over AMD's website on Catalyst Mobility pages and the driver release notes.

If the generic drivers supplied by AMD are not compatible, then you have to use whatever the manufacturer issues as compatible / suitable / working for that particular machine etc .. It's not up to AMD to do anything, it's up to the manufacturer as they use AMD's technology to their own specs for their own proprietary machines.
