Download and install these drivers in the correct way.

Sorry for the late reply......unfortunately it didn't work....it simply won't recognize my card....here's extra info in case it is needed

Notebook Model : MSI EX465MX

VGA : Ati Mobility Radeon HD 545v (NOT the same as HD 5450)

Driver Date 06-Apr-10
Driver Version 8.723.0.0

Hardware ID :
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9553&SUBSYS_100D1462&REV_00
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9553&SUBSYS_100D1462
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9553&CC_030000
PCI\VEN_1002&DEV_9553&CC_0300

If i uninstall the driver Windows automatically install generic driver for Ati HD4500 ( i heard that HD545v is an updated version of HD4500 series)

Any help is appreciated.....thanks

Have you tried running Driver Fusion after uninstalling CCC, then installing the driver provided from your laptop manufacturer (not AMD's)?

I'm a bit confused.....i did uninstall the driver (and CCC) before installing the driver (i already tried 12.8 WHQL for both Radeon HD and mobility Radeon HD)....i haven't tried AMD driver fusion since i can't find it after googling a bit ( It says only AMD Fusion, a low power integrated graphic card on CPU).... and isn't my manufacturer driver is outdated (2010).... i have checked and they haven't update it yet (Still 8.723.0.0) hence is why i want to update with AMD driver......care to elaborate ?.....thanks

Edit:

Sorry...my bad.... i've found driver fusion....will try it....thanks

Don't know what you expect to gain by using newer drivers, you could quite possibly experience a loss of function and undesired operation by using generic drivers on a laptop.

Really.....i always heard that it would improve game performance (considering my driver is 2 years outdated)....about the driver fusion, that program only delete driver....to update i need to purchase it (which i don't want to)....if it really is not possible to use generic driver then i guess i'll give up
