Originally posted by: CPTate I am having the same problem with a HP Envy DESKTOP. The AMD Vision program shows Overdrive for the CPU, and Hydravision, but no video card options. The system has a Radeon 7450, but if I look at the driver details, it still shows a driver date of 7/4/2012 and a version 8.981.0.0, signed by Microsoft. I tried the regular Catalyst install and the beta. The autodetect on amd.com did not even recognize my card, and the drop down did not show a Windows 8 driver. Luckily, there is a page that has the download links. Any solutions, as this does not seem to have anything to do with whether or not it is a laptop?
Yes it does have something to do with it being a laptop. Go to HP and download your drivers there...or try Windows update..optional downloads.
