Hello all,
I have recently upgraded my old laptop (an Asus A6VA-Q052H) to the newest OS (Windows 8 Pro 32 bit).
However, I don't find any driver that suit with my new Operating System.
Actually, Windows 8 put me a generic display driver. I can't use any 3D capabilities of my GPU/hardware acceleration for video.
The Asus A6VA-Q052H configuration are below:
- Intel Pentium M 740
- 2*1 GB RAM PC-4200
- 100 GB Hard Drive
- HD Audio
- ATI Radeon X700 Mobility with 256 MB
- Windows XP with SP 3 upgraded to Windows 8 Pro 32 bit
Before upgrading to Windows 8, I use the recovery partition to make a clean install since my laptop was hell slow.
Whatever AMD driver I grab in the Legacy Display Driver available in the site, none can detect my ATI Radeon X700.
Is-it possible that AMD can release a new driver for this X700 Mobility/Radeon X Series for Windows 8 ?
