Hello, for first, sorry for my english. I have a problem whit updating driver softvare in my graphic card ati hd 6650M.

 I have this two graphic cards : 1.  AMD M880G whit ati mobility radeon HD 4250

2.  AMD radeon HD 6650M

 When i used ati catalyst or amd auto updater. That software found only my  AMD M880G whit ati mobility radeon HD 4250 and I don´t know how to update my HD 6650 graphic driver. I have permanently this  version :
8.900.7.1000   and date : 28. 9. 2011

Oh yes.....and when i used update driver in device manager = nothing happend

i used this http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html  but there is only driver from 2011 ..... and after this dont works amd powerXpress (switch between graphics). It writes : amd grapihc don't function properly .......

From this http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx ati page I download this :  step 1 : notebook graphics   step 2: radeon hd series   step 3 : radeon hd 6xxxM series    step 4 : windows 64 bit.

When i used this ati  6650M its ok but ati M880g whit ati 4250 does´nt work.

When i used autodetect  ....then at the end of download writes : could not open file. This process cannot access the file becaue it is being used by another process.

I tried program driver max. First downloaded driver for ati m880g date from last month i think, or september. it works, but then again dont works ati 6650.....so i download whit this program driver for 6650. and then 6650 works bud m880g doesnt....

So what should I install? Please help me.....

Switchable graphics drivers are not supported on the AMD site. Your laptop manufacturer has customized them to work with your computer applications, bios, etc. You will have to go to their website and get newer drivers... if there are any. Laptop mfgs have a short memory when it comes to keeping graphics drivers updated. One, maybe three updates, then good luck. There are ways around this, and you may have to use Google to find modded versions.

Hi. Latest drivers from HP are from february (2011), may(2011) and september(2011). First - its old     Second - dont function properly

Its looks good, but not.....  Power gaming graphic dont function

Why i cant have latest graphic driver? I have low fps in 2012 games, I dont think that I have bad graphic, but i have old and bad drivers. Its not HP problem, its your (and especially my) problem, its ati graphic, not HP graphic

Your the one that fell for the switchable graphics gimmick/scheme....just like communism, sounds good on paper but just doesn't work in the long run. Your laptop manufacturer took perfectly good drivers and modified them to work on their laptop. Only modified drivers will work....generic drivers will not (which is all AMD offers). Thank HP. Then they say AMD's fault? You made a decision that you will have to live with....check out HP's laptop forum.

Edit: At least warn your friends about 'switchable' graphics. It doesn't matter if its ATI or Nvidia.
