Hello i have a serious problem with my graphics card my gpu is basicllly 2 sandwitched together a  low performance and a high performance, but when ever i update it to the latest legacy drivers for 4200 series it deleltes my higher powered 5 series card and makes my laptop uselss for what i bought it for anyone have any ideas how i can sort this out becuase i cant keep using drivers from 2010 from Hp.

The following notebooks are not compatible with this release:

Any notebook launched after this driver release.
Switchable Graphics enabled notebooks.
Toshiba notebooks (please contact the notebook OEM for driver support for these. notebooks)
Sony VAIO notebooks (please contact the notebook OEM for driver support for these notebooks)
Panasonic notebooks (please contact the notebook OEM for driver support for these notebooks)

ive tried that that doesnt apply to my laptop my bios is different. I dont have an intel card the only gpu is the amd card that link doesnt apply to me ive tried it it doesnt work

which driver works with switchable all the other drivers from amd have worked appart from this one. Hp have not updated the drivers since 2010 and dont intend to.

I would suggest that you contact HP about this then, it is their laptop and they should be your expert information resource.

I cant my laptop is out of warrenty they wont help me , the drivers before they moved to legacy used to work now they dont this all started when i put on windows 8 but then i removed windows 8 and re installed 7
