Switchable Graphics Notebook: Mobility HD5470 + Mobility HD4200 Series

OS: Windows 7 x64

 

Problem: Driver Autodetect downloads the latest Catalyst driver, Mobility 12.10, which does not work after its installation (Windows basic driver is used and Catalyst reports the amd driver to be broken). The installation report says "Mobility HD 4200 series" without mention of a HD5470.

The correct driver would be 12.6 Legacy, which works without any problems.

 

Consider this as a kind of bug report. There should at least be a warning.
