Hey all!
I have a laptop with the AMD M880G with ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 Installed. Everytime I boot into windows normally it gives me the BIOS Screen and the windows load screen and then goes dark. I know windows is booting because I hear it in the background. When I boot to safe mode it displays the drivers with no problems, so I uninstalled the drivers and restarted into normal windows again. Booted up fine and I ran the most recent drivers from AMD and it detects both of them fine, but everytime I restart the issue begins again. Im running Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, an AMD Phenom 2 N950 Quad Proccessor, 8 GB of RAM the model of the computer is a DV7-4060US. Any ideas why this is happening? The problem began about a week ago. Thanks for your help!

Read the sticky 'how to update mobility drivers'....then go to your laptop manufacturer's driver support and use the drivers from there.

Thank you "stumped" but what's to do if my notebook-manufacturer will

not update there drivers for Windows 8?

So, nVidia continues support for "old" VGA-Cards - but AMD will not support 4000 Series

in Windows 8.

Next time i buy a nVidia Notebook (with Intel-CPU) - sorry AMD, but this is
