Hello,
My notebook (Compal NBLB2) has a ATI mobility Radeon HD 5650.
I run Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. (service pack 1)
One day i was at work and i installed some software. After this... my computer was extremely slow. Progresses start normally within 5 seconds, at that time in like 80-120 seconds. After i discovered this... I was going to uninstall everything, after some software it was better. Including AMD Catalyst 13.1, after a week I thought, hey it's fast again, lets install my video driver again. But, when i did that i restarted my computer and... Then it was awfully slow again, i started a movie, the sound was shocky like u twist ur audio plug constantly. and the video was like laggy.
So i decided to uninstall it again, and restart after that. and everything was back to normal. Movie was smooth with normal sound, everything started within 10 seconds.
Now i was thinking about installing Windows 8 Pro soon, i don't know if this fixes it too. but if anyone know how to figure this out on windows 7 then i would be happy to hear.
