Please exist an update drivers to get on my laptop Acer TravelMate 4670  the Windows 8.The laptop has Intel Core Duo processor T2300; 1.66GHz; 667MHz FSB; 2MB L2 cache.

There is an ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 up to 256MB Hyper Memory graphic card.

I did set up the Windows 8 on my laptop but I found out the graphic quality  of the Windows 8 to be found wanting.There was no sharp on the screen and the letters on the webpages had been sometimes hard to read.It was caused by the out-dated ATI driver which didn't match the need  of Windows 8 (by other words the Windows 8 just refused that old graphic card). Please is there any help to get the Windows 8 on my laptop despite of it has such old equipment.I'm very willing to pay for some ATI driver or an external USB graphic card I just need to know exactly what to buy?

Your card is not supported, there's no Win8 driver for it at all, there's not even a supported Win7 driver.

There's no such thing as USB video card. You have to buy a new laptop or use an older operating system.

It's very sad to get an information like that. It does mean that the milions of people which are stuck with problem like this will have to throw theirs laptops in the bin.isgust;

Especialy as the Microsoft will cancel support for Windows XP.I will not give up, I will try to push the problem ahead.I see just a trifle problem to get the laptop's screen a bit sharp that's all.

That's how laptops work unfortunately. If they get old, you can't upgrade them, you have to throw them away and buy a new one, or use them in a state you acquired them, with old software and stuff.

You know, I'm writing this post from the second machine in my sig. It's ancient, has an Athlon XP, not too much memory etc. If I put anything newer that Windows XP on it, it would choke and die. I'm not too worried about it though. It can still do anything it could many years ago, and can use its full potential with old software.

It really does suck that laptops are as disposable as cell phones, but with a couple of exceptions laptops are built to tight thermal and electrical constraints (i.e. as cheap as possible) which prevent upgrading. Old desktops you can turn into great legacy gaming machines by dual booting XP and 98. Laptops...Could always donate them to a school or to Goodwill (after securely erasing the drive and starting fresh) or someone in your family that doesn't have one.
