Hey. Yeah, I'm gonna buy an XMG laptop & I wanted to know if like Alienware, XMG had the option to disable enduro?

(I say this because of all the problems there were with the 7970M & enduro. I don't wanna have to deal with that *****...)

& if u guys at AMD can't tell me this, should I call Schenker in order to get an answer?

This is a user forum...you should call the manufacturer and make sure (1) you can disable it, and (2) you will be able to update the drivers. Isn't there a owners forum you can go to and read what other people are saying? Or, ask owners of the computer what their experience is?

PS : what do u mean "ask them if you will be able to update drivers"?? 

If you were to read some of the posts in the LAPTOP forum, you would understand...especially read the sticky "updating mobility drivers". Some manufacturers like Sony, Toshiba, and Panasonic prohibit you from updating drivers except thru them. Which means that after two or three updates they will offer, you will be unable to update your graphics driver. Dual graphics, switchable graphics, and all the hybrids are problematic...and that is being kind. A much better laptop would be any that did not have these 'features'.

Mine will be a radeon 7970M dedicated(discrete) on either an Alienware or a Schenker(XMG).

No I cannot. Owners of that model will be able to however. There must be a support forum for owners where you can ask. Or, post in the correct forum.. LAPTOP... (which is why there is a laptop forum) and maybe a owner of a similar model might assist you. Hopefully, a moderater will move this to the correct forum.
