PS : what do u mean "ask them if you will be able to update drivers"??
If you were to read some of the posts in the LAPTOP forum, you would understand...especially read the sticky "updating mobility drivers". Some manufacturers like Sony, Toshiba, and Panasonic prohibit you from updating drivers except thru them. Which means that after two or three updates they will offer, you will be unable to update your graphics driver. Dual graphics, switchable graphics, and all the hybrids are problematic...and that is being kind. A much better laptop would be any that did not have these 'features'.
Build your own so you can be free of dependency on the laptop manufacturer for support. Here are two examples : http://rjtech.com/shop/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=30156
