I just went on the AMD website and downloaded the program that reads my drivers and tells me what newer versions are available. It ran and brought up a specific graphics driver that was available, so I downloaded, and evrything went fine except for one thing: Now my screen dims by itself slowly as I'm on a page, then if I change the page/click on something, it gets bright again, then slowly dims away again, and keeps repeating like that. This only seems to happen while I'm using the battery. When it's plugged in, the brightness stays the same (then dims at the 30 minute mark, which is what I set it for). It's pretty aggravating, I was wondering if the driver was corrupt, something went wrong, or if this is just a simple fix... 

I checked and the adaptive brightness is disabled, all my brightness settings (for battery power) have been checked, I don't know what else to do, other than uninstall.

You're supposed to use the drivers provided by the manufacturer of your laptop. It's even written on the download page:

Oh, so then it would be Toshiba, and not AMD? I was told to do it off this site.. 

...Anyway, I fixed the dim issue (I went to advanced power options, ATI Graphics Power Settings - changed "on battery" setting from "maximize battery life" to "maximize performance" - no more auto dim), so now I have no issues, and the graphics look great. I'm guessing there's no preference or need for me to uninstall and go directly to Toshiba? Or would I still be better off? Thanks for your reply, by the way.

You'd be better off with Toshiba drivers. Once you unplug the power supply and take the laptop somewhere, performance mode will drain the battery in a matter of minutes.

I have it unplugged quite often, it does not drain the battery in a matter of minutes. Not even close! But if I'm better off with Toshiba drivers, so be it.

Ok, SO now I cant even figure out how to unistall the drivers properly and completely? I look under "uninstall a program" & it's not there.

It's called Catalyst Install Manager in the programs and features list. You can also use the official uninstall utility (win7 only).
