That is the bad part about laptops...you are at the mercy of the laptop manufacturer. As a example, there is a new IE10 for Windows 7...it cannot be installed on laptops with 'switchable/hybrid' graphics...another issue the manufacturer is responsible for. At any rate AMD is clear about the problem...when you recieve that message

You can, however, install the latest drivers by using a direct download...bypassing the compatibility check. However, if your laptop has switchable graphics..you will lose that function. Some people care, some don't. You can download them here > http://benchmark3d.com/drivers-search
