To confirm, are you asking why Catalyst 13.3 Beta is not showing compatibility with the Mobility Radeon 7970m but the 13.2 Beta was compatible? 

Have you tried to install 13.3Beta?  If so, what happens?

I do not believe any significant changes took place between Catalyst 13.2 Beta, and now Catalyst 13.3 Beta that affected what products are supported.

Try to make sure a very complete driver uninstall is done, and then try Catalyst 13.3 Beta once more.  However, it is a beta driver after-all.  It simply may not work for you.

An update is coming shortly to the Catlyst 13.3 Beta3 download page. 

A download is being added specific to Mobility Radeon products supporting AMD PowerXpress (Enduro) Technology.  I suspect this specific download is what you'll need.

That update is now available...they didn't change the version number, its still 13.3 beta3. Also looks like they addressed a openGL issue.
