I have a dell studio 1558 with a ATI Mobility Radeon 5470 1GB Running windows 7 home premium, every time I install the driver for this card (Downloaded from dell support) i get BSOD error ATIKMDAG.sys

If I boot in safe mode the laptop runs fine, i have already tried un installing the drivers with a driver sweeper, and registry cleaned everything ATI, that sorts the problem but then my graphics card doesn't work because I'm not using a driver...  when i go to install the ati drivers the error comes back again so I'm really stuck on what to do here

please help!

Contact dell if there driver isn't working.

The only next thing for you to do is use the dell recovery partition to reinstall your OS to working condition. Since driver sweeper sometimes removes a little more then its suppose to.

Nothing you can really do except what you've already done.
