Sager NP8180

Dual 6990m Video Cards

I just did a fresh install of windows 7 on my P180 from Mythlogic.

Of course i downloaded and installed the latest video driver from amd which is CCC 13.4, i am using dual 6990m

This software is not giving me an option to enable crossfire anywhere in it. Both cards are recognized in device manager under Display Adapters.

Also in my toolbox if i right click on the CCC icon it shows me 4 display adapter setting options (this always was true for when crossfire is disabled

Go to the Sager support site and install the latest drivers they have for your laptop.

The latest drivers from are version 8.902.0.0 from dec 2011 which makes that option irrelavent because the drivers are so old. I even tried this and it completely messed up the colors

Also on a side note i ran your mobility verification tool and it downloaded the exact same drivers as on your website, without giving any errors and no change in the crossfire sitution

Each laptop manufacturer has it's own method for updating. AMD is only offering generic mobility drivers. I would suggest you read through or post in the Sager forum for advice > http://forum.notebookreview.com/sager-clevo/
