Will not externally display anything, Trying to get to display to older Mitsubishi TV that needs 640x480 display. Card states it supports display but has yet to work. Can get my Nvidia gcard on my personal laptop to send to said display, but not this laptop.

Graphics Card
AMD radeon  HD 7460G

AMD Catalyst Driver Version, and Driver History
Originally at v.16666, upgraded to current via autodetect tool downloaded from site

Operating System
64bit Windows 8 ver 6.2
Issue Details
- AMD Vision software will not detect external video. Can produce externally to LCD monitor, but need 640x480 for the desired external display. Since updating to recent version, AMD Vision engine control center has disappeared, but honestly I do not care for this installed anyways.

Motherboard or System Make & Model
Acer aspire v3-551-8649

Display Device(s) and Connection(s) Used
Mitsubishi 1080i, connected via VGA port to DVI adapter. Also Acer monitor through VGA port. cables tested fine with other laptop/systems

CPU Details
AMD quad core 1.9ghz a8-4500m

System Memory Type & Amount

4GB DDR3

CCC will not work correctly without the proper netframework. Without CCC you can't set display. You are in the wrong forum, read the stickies in the laptop forum.

Before updating drivers, CCC still would not detect the external display, nor display anything in the supported 640x480 structure. I cant see having something installed that doesnt even work accordingly, and I did not remove said software, the update removed it, and honestly, I dont care to have it back.

So...learn to live without it...but, you will not be able to adjust anything. If the control panel doesn't show up, you haven't installed the drivers correctly. End of story.

So then answer this, why can it "see" the external when queried for attached external monitors, but not send to it then? Even after removing the control panel, functionality remains the same. Works fine with my PC monitor, but not the TV. And remember, I do not have this problem with my nvidia chipset intel laptop. This rules out anything else being the problem except for the software.

Graphics suite was installed, works about as much as getting a direct answer on this site. Again, with the software installed at version .16666, it will show the external, but will not allow any selection of said analog device, or any transfer of any sort. I have gotten much more functionality from the Windows 8 control panel.
